Meet the team

Peter founded Harmony Energy in 2010 having spent ten years in finance. He has over 16 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector, in financing and development.

Alex joined forces with Peter in 2016 as Harmony Energy diversified into battery energy storage. Alex’s role involves oversight over our fully integrated development, delivery and asset management teams across the business. Prior to Harmony, Alex co-founded WindCare, a leading Balance of Plant contractor operating in the onshore wind sector as well as Sancus utilities, a specialist engineering company designing and building hydroponic vertical farms.

Pete is a former projects lawyer and has worked in a broad range of energy businesses including start-ups, hi-tech/high-growth companies and large corporates. He has extensive renewable energy project development experience and is currently based in New Zealand, where he is focused on developing a 500 MW+ pipeline of utility scale solar projects.

James is an award-winning serial entrepreneur with a strong background in renewables. He has over 12 years’ experience as an executive in the energy sector and worked supplying some of the largest companies in the industry. He was formerly founder and CEO of Tekmar Group Plc and is currently Chairman of Energi Coast and CEO of Ritchie Bland Energy Ltd.

Paul has over 15 years’ experience in the energy sector. In 2018, he co-founded REMAP with Max Slade, a specialist UK battery storage consultancy with a specific focus on revenue forecasting and financial modelling. Paul spent 4 years at Long Harbour Ltd as co-Director of Energy Investment Team and he has advised on energy-from-waste projects with investment value of over £2bn whilst a Partner at Prime Numbers Infrastructure Finance.

Max has over 7 years’ experience in the energy sector, three of which were spent at REMAP advising investors & developers on commercial aspects of UK battery storage sector. Max spent 4 years alongside Paul at Long Harbour Ltd as co-Director of Energy Investment Team and years at Strand Partners, a boutique investment bank focussed on Energy and Infrastructure. Max also spent 2 years as Fund Manager for a UK Private Family Office and is a qualified as a UK corporate lawyer.

Prior to joining Harmony Gary was a Commercial Engineer with Northern Powergrid where he worked with developers on new connections throughout Yorkshire and the North East England. He is an electrical engineer having spent his early career specialising in military avionic systems in locations around the world, before moving into the energy sector.

Frances is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 12 years' experience in developing and gaining consents for large scale renewable energy assets. Prior to joining Harmony, Frances worked at EDF Renewables UK where she supported them to develop their first green hydrogen plant and led on a pipeline of utility scale solar and onshore wind projects at varying stages of the development cycle exceeding 1000MWs. Frances leads our UK development team and supports the origination and design of projects, securing land, obtaining planning consents, ensuring projects are successfully handed over to construction and managing stakeholder engagement.

Rob is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience. He has worked in a variety of finance roles, including at listed food production and aquaculture biotechnology businesses.

Ked has over 10 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector, working on offshore and onshore wind, solar and energy storage projects. From a consultancy background, his experience includes due diligence for project financing and Owner’s Engineering. Prior to joining Harmony, Ked was Head of Owner’s Engineering for RINA, where he built a team of 12 delivering detailed engineering services for developers of renewable and battery storage projects. His experience includes Harmony’s Contego project, where he acted as Project Director for RINA’s comprehensive Owner’s Engineering scope.

Thorsten joined Harmony Energy in November 2024. He brings 10 years of experience in the energy sector, having previously worked at BayWa r.e. as Project Manager for large-scale solar energy and battery storage plants. He is an expert in hybrid systems, both off-grid and on-grid, and has managed projects in the UK and Africa.

Chloe has over nine years' experience as a corporate lawyer working in private practice, including five years with a particular focus on energy and natural resources, having advised clients across the entire battery minerals value chain, from upstream mining companies through to battery energy storage projects and to electric vehicle charging infrastructure. She has experience across a broad range of corporate transactions, including domestic and cross-border public and private M&A, Equity Capital Markets, Private Equity / VC, JVs and general corporate matters, including complex reorganisations.

Arsh has over 10 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Financial Modelling in both mature and emerging markets with a considerable portion of it being in the energy sector. Arsh holds a degree in engineering, a MBA in finance and has cleared CFA level II and FRM level I. Area of focus has been around structuring projects so that affordability, bankability, and the levels of risk are carefully balanced to achieve optimal value for money. Working across Africa, India, Japan, Middle East, UK and south-east Asia, Arsh has been involved in various renewable energy projects including competitive bids for solarising telecom sites, commissioning solar PV plants and such. Prior to joining Harmony, Arsh was employed by firms like Deloitte, Steer, KPMG, OMC Power and Mazars LLP.

Catherine has over 15 years’ experience as a property lawyer including 6 years’ experience in the energy sector working both with landowners and developers and 3 years’ experience working in-house, including roles in asset management and financial services.

Residing in the UK since she was a student, Iris has 18 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain, with the majority of time working for blue chips such as BP, Equinor and Chevron across a few continents with both onshore and offshore experience. Covid made Iris settle back in London, working for the construction industry and data centre in Procurement and SCM until she found her way back to the energy sector, where she worked for Low Carbon as a procurement manager for Primary Electricity and BESS before she joined Harmony. She made the deals for Low Carbon first ever colocation portfolio across four projects. Iris is a Member of CIPS, holds a Master Degree in International Business Management, a degree in English Journalism and an HD in Information Systems.

Lucie is a sustainability specialist with almost a decade of experience in sustainability strategy development, implementation and reporting at large private and FTSE listed companies. Prior to joining Harmony, Lucie worked in sustainability consulting with Deloitte and most recently in industry with OVO Energy.

Alberto is a UK-qualified Company Secretary with significant international experience. He has covered a number of roles in different organisations, ranging from FTSE100 companies to start-ups. Alberto has experience in managing complex international governance arrangements, both in regulated and non-regulated markets, and has a strong understanding of both civil and common law systems. In addition to English and his native Italian, Alberto is fluent in Spanish and has passed his Dalf C1 exam (Advanced French).

Jack has extensive experience in marketing and communications, having delivered projects across a range of industries including higher education, sport, and renewable energy. In 2019, he managed Leeds Law School to its best-ever application rates, and at UK Coaching launched an award-winning initiative to inspire diversity and opportunity in sport. He has worked with major broadcasters and media outlets including the BBC, Sky and Bloomberg. Jack holds a BA (Hons) in Journalism, a CIM qualification, and a Master’s degree from the University of Leeds.

Since joining Harmony Energy, Jack has helped grow the brand from a Yorkshire-based company into a global, multi-award-winning business.

Catherine has extensive experience in administration and event management. Since joining the business, she has led the development of its HR function, supporting Harmony’s growth from a small team to nearly 100 employees across multiple countries. She plays a key role at Harmony Energy, overseeing the day-to-day running of the company’s offices while also serving as an experienced HR professional and PA.

Sam, originally from County Durham, has over 20 years’ experience in IT across the NHS and Financial services. People-focused by nature, she specialises in making technology accessible and relevant, translating complex systems into practical solutions that support colleagues, customers and improves service delivery. Based in North Yorkshire since 2012, Sam is an active member of the Women’s Institute, drawn by its strong sense of community, friendship, and the opportunity to connect with others. She brings clarity, warmth, and a collaborative approach to every project she leads.

Miguel joined Harmony Energy in September 2023, driving the company's global expansion. With over 15 years in the renewable sector, he's a specialist in Energy Storage Business. Miguel has shaped and executed new business models for the technology, originating profitable opportunities across key markets such as the UK, Europe, Mexico, Chile, and South Africa. His track record includes leadership roles at major IPPs such as FRV, Canadian Solar, and Norsk Solar. Currently based in Madrid, Spain, Miguel brings a wealth of experience to Harmony Energy, steering its growth with practical expertise and a global perspective.

Rachael is an Australian and New Zealand-qualified lawyer with extensive international experience advising on the lifecycle of large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Before joining Harmony, Rachael worked in-house at Low Carbon and at international law firms, including King & Wood Mallesons in Australia and MinterEllison in New Zealand. She has advised government institutions, project companies, developers, and financial sponsors on a variety of complex projects.

Emelie has joined the legal team as a paralegal, assisting on legal matters and the coordination of the annual report. Before joining the renewable energy industry, she graduated with a Law with Criminology degree and has worked in both private practice and in-house legal teams.

Hannah is a qualified chartered Town Planner with over 7 years’ experience in the planning sector. Prior to joining Harmony Hannah worked at a private planning consultancy helping to deliver planning consents on a range of projects from large scale residential developments to smaller tourism schemes.

Tessa is a qualified chartered Town Planner with 2 years of experience in the public sector and over 12 years of experience in the private sector. Prior to joining Harmony, Tessa worked at a planning consultancy helping to prepare, manage and deliver planning consents on a range of residential, commercial and environmental projects.

Sean works within the development team to support in the creation of technical drawings and pre-construction information packs whilst commissioning technical work and surveys. Sean has a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Arts from York St John and comes in with years of CAD experience within the energy sector.

Tim is a Chartered Surveyor with over 36 years’ experience in the Electricity Supply Industry, with extensive knowledge of working for and alongside DNOs and renewable energy companies to obtain wayleave and property related consents. Tim is a farmer’s son and has utility construction and overhead line experience. Prior to joining Harmony, Tim was Property Consultancy Manager for Babcock International Group and Dalcour Maclaren where he delivered large infrastructure projects, BESS facilities and both onshore and offshore windfarm projects.

Akbar is a Data Scientist with experience across data engineering, analytics, modelling, software, and full stack development. He has previously worked at EY for 5 years across the FS Mobility Advisory and Assurance Innovation workstreams.

Sean joined Harmony as a Graduate Project Manager and will work between the asset management and ESG teams. Before joining, Sean worked as a researcher investigating the impact of bi-directional EV chargers on flexible energy systems. He has also completed an internship with a Dublin-based renewable developer as part of his master’s degree in Energy Systems.

With over 6 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, Jack works within the delivery team responsible for the execution phase (pre-construction, construction, commissioning and handover to operations). He acts as the main interface with all project stakeholders during this critical stage, ensuring project progress towards completion. Jack has a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malta and an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from Heriot Watt University.

Alastair is an electrical engineer and previously worked in the Royal Air Force focusing on electrical design for tactical exercises within the UK and abroad. Upon finishing his BEng, he has transitioned into the energy sector. Alastair joined Harmony Energy's team to provide technical support to the project and asset management teams in areas such as design review, optioneering, grid connection process management, review of G99 studies and technical tender evaluation.

Verity is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Harmony Verity trained at Mazars, working with both the Corporate tax compliance and advisory teams.

Anthony is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience working with major organisations, including Fujitsu and Thames Water. With a strong foundation in corporate finance, Anthony has specialised in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), where he has played a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Throughout his career, Anthony has successfully supported multiple ERP system migrations, ensuring seamless transitions and enhanced financial reporting capabilities. He has also been instrumental in supporting large-scale turnaround initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to guide restructuring efforts and improve financial performance. Anthony combines technical expertise with a strategic mindset, making him a valuable asset in dynamic and complex business environments.

Harry is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser, having completed his training at a Big Four accounting firm. He previously worked as a Corporate Tax Manager specialising in Financial Services.

Following her career in education, as a primary school teacher and SENCo, Sarah joined Harmony’s finance team to support account management. In 2024, she became AAT Level 3 qualified and, after a period of progression within the team, now plays a key role in overseeing day-to-day financial operations and supporting project delivery across the business.

Following the completion of her History Degree at Leeds University, Catherine spent the first half of her working life working within Finance, including managing an Accounts Payable and Credit Control Team. Alongside this, she worked towards her ACCA Qualification before taking 15 years out to concentrate on her family. Following this career break, she returned to Finance in assistant management accountant roles, leading her to Harmony Energy.

Chris has many years of experience in finance roles in industries as varied as hotels, military clothing and equipment supplies and the commercial gas sector.

Keely has over 13 years of experience in administration and personal assistant roles. Keely has provided high-level support across a variety of sectors, including medical research, charities, social care, and education. She brings a proactive approach to process improvement and a strong track record of keeping teams organised and efficient. She plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Her responsibilities include booking travel and events, coordinating office supplies across UK locations, supporting office facilities management, and assisting with health and safety compliance. Keely also provides flexible support to the Head of Marketing and wider team, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve administrative processes.

An engineer by training, Andy has been working in the renewable energy sector since 2005. He has worked in the development, construction, and management of hydroelectric, wind, solar, and storage projects in New Zealand, the UK, and France, where he has been based since 2011. In 2022, Andy co-founded the Harmony Energy subsidiary in France to build an efficient and motivated team capable of delivering large-scale projects for the energy transition. His ambition is to help reduce France's carbon footprint by replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy.

Clément has around fifteen years of experience in the electricity market. With degrees in engineering and energy, he has held various commercial and consulting positions, specialising in smart grid applications. He then led the storage project development activities at RES France. In 2022, Clément and Andy co-founded the Harmony Energy subsidiary in France to develop solar and storage projects in mainland France.

Olivier is an experienced business development manager with 7 years of experience acquired in the Australian renewable energy sector (including 3.5 years at Tesla). Olivier joined Harmony Energy in 2023 to lead BESS project development. He is responsible for site selection and qualification, stakeholder engagement, and obtaining necessary permits. He also participates in financing, commercialization, and deployment activities during the project execution phase.

Matthieu has over 12 years’ experience in various markets, including energy and agricultural sectors. Qualified in business administration and economics, he has been supervising his family-based farming company for the last five years. Matthieu joined Harmony Energy in 2023 and oversees the development of PV and agriPV activities.

Clare joined Harmony Energy France in October 2025 to provide legal advice on compliance, commercial law and corporate law. Before moving into the renewable energy sector, Clare spent several years working in the public sector, initially in research as Head of Legal, with a practice focused on drafting and negotiating contracts. She later joined local authorities, serving first as Head of Legal, then as Chief of Staff, and finally as Chief Executive. Aware of the major challenges and issues linked to the energy transition, Clare was keen to commit herself to a sector that carries real purpose.

Damien joined the Harmony Energy France team in May 2025 as a Delivery Manager. A graduate of ENSIEG-INP Grenoble and holder of an MSc in Renewable Energies from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, he brings 17 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. He began his career as a support engineer for wind farm construction at REpower in Scotland before taking on the role of Project Manager for Europe and North America, overseeing the delivery, construction and commissioning of wind farms. He finalised his tenure at REpower/Senvion as Operations Manager, supervising projects in France and Belgium. From 2019 to 2025, Damien worked with the renewable energy company Qair, initially managing wind and solar projects and later expanding his focus to include battery storage projects.

Arnaud comes from the field of urban planning and territorial development, with experience in advising local authorities and elected officials on their planning policies. Today, Arnaud leverages his knowledge of administrations and territories, as well as his five years of experience in solar and wind energy, to prospect and develop new solar projects within Harmony Energy France.

Christophe started his career working in industrial maintenance over 20 years ago. By conviction and attraction for energy production systems, he quickly specialised in the sector of renewable energy. Christophe has occupied a number of different positions in engineering and construction, principally focusing on the development and the operational delivery of wind turbine and photovoltaic farms. Christophe joined Harmony Energy France in April 2024. He is responsible for the design of photo-agrivoltaic projects, ensuring their techno-economic optimisation. He also contributes to the design of energy storage projects and supports development and construction phases. He manages the procedures for connecting photovoltaic parks to the electrical grid and ensures the technical compliance of installations. In collaboration with construction and engineering managers, Christophe manages supplier consultations.

Camille joined Harmony Energy as part of the development of the Finance division in France. She oversees financial management and control, with a focus on optimisation and analysis, and is responsible for the company’s accounting functions. Before moving into the renewable energy sector, Camille worked in the agri-food and nutraceutical industry for a French international group, having started her career with one of the Big Four audit firms in Paris.

Wissal is a student in Management and Organisational Administration. She joined the Harmony Energy France team as an Administrative and Human Resources Assistant. Curious, meticulous, and attentive, she strives to combine operational efficiency with a strong human focus in every project she undertakes. Her experiences in both France and abroad have helped her develop strong adaptability, a proactive mindset, and a consistently engaged and considerate approach to teamwork.

Driven by curiosity and a strong appetite for learning, Stéphanie has built a rich and diverse professional career. She holds a master's degree in marketing and communication from CELSA and began her career at Palais des Thés in Paris, where she progressed to the role of Marketing and Communication Group Manager. She then founded and ran a high-end home decoration business for twelve years in the south of France, with a strong focus on craftsmanship and French-made products. Motivated by the desire to create a tangible and positive impact through her work by actively contributing to the energy transition, she joined Harmony Energy in March 2024. Enthusiastic about leading interconnected, cross-functional roles within a fast-growing company, Stéphanie oversees Communication, Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility for France, while continuously working to structure and enhance the internal processes. 

Sylvain joined Harmony Energy in January 2024. He has 13 years of experience in electrical engineering and renewables, including 8 years working in the sector of innovation for energy systems and products, with a focus on power conversion, storage technologies, and renewable integration with power system stability challenges (CEA France, Schneider Electric). In 2017, Sylvain joined the Spanish developer FRV, providing technical expertise and developing their energy storage business in Australia and the UK, including working on some of Harmony Energy’s first BESS projects in the UK as a JV partner. More recently, Sylvain has been working as construction project manager in for solar PV farms, and as an O&M services sales engineer.

Auriane joined the Harmony Energy France team in October 2025 as a BESS Development Project Manager. She holds a Master’s degree in Green, Social & Digital Management from ESI Business School and brings three years of alternating work-study experience in renewable energy development, particularly in solar, wind, and battery energy storage. Auriane began her career at Engie GREEN as an assistant within the project development teams, before taking full responsibility for managing multi-energy projects. Driven by her convictions, she is now specialising in energy storage — a technology that naturally extends her experience in electricity generation.

Romain has nearly 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, with expertise in the operation, maintenance and asset management of electrical infrastructure, particularly within renewable energy. He held technical and coordination roles at EDF Renewables, working on photovoltaic and wind assets as well as MV/HV substations. A certified trainer in high-voltage systems and renewable energy, he brings experience in team management and operational performance optimisation. More recently, Romain worked at Omexom, where he led PV and HV O&M activities in France and internationally, structuring teams and processes, overseeing contracts and budgets, and contributing to business development. Romain joined Harmony Energy in January 2026 as Asset Management Manager for France. He oversees BESS assets and HV substations, coordinates maintenance providers from the pre-construction phase, optimises operating costs, ensures compliance with regulatory and HSE requirements, and delivers strategic reporting. 

Cyril was part of the founding team of Harmony Energy France in 2022. With a degree in electrical engineering and a specialisation in energy storage, he has been working in the network storage sector since 2019. Cyril oversees grid connection, electrical and technical studies, and participates in the design and optimisation of projects for Harmony Energy France's activities.

“Founding Harmony Energy Poland was a quick, exciting and well thought-out decision. We moved quickly because the chemistry between the Polish and UK team showcased the exciting journey ahead. It’s an exciting opportunity where we can make a huge positive impact on Poland which will enable the transition of the whole economy towards renewables. We want to build Harmony Energy Poland quickly and efficiently due to the extensive knowledge from the British market, but we are bringing much needed financing and operational experience which will allow the Polish grid to be supported by our battery energy storage systems.”

Dariusz has been working in the renewable energy industry since 2000. He gained experience in biomass, wind and solar PV, having worked in Poland, Balkans and the GCC (Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman). Is an institutional member of EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network sharing EU experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources with GCC countries. Prior to that, Dariusz held managing positions in various project development and contracting in Poland, among others in TOPO Wind Energyia SA (development of utility-scale windfarms). In 2023 Dariusz and Michal co-founded Harmony Energy Poland to develop Harmony’s activities in Poland.

Piotr has over 15 years of energy business experience having managed and delivered projects across various sectors including power generation, distribution of electricity, renewable energy, district heating, emissions trading and energy storage. Within the PGE Group (Poland’s largest utility) he served as a department director and executive team member responsible for both the sale and distribution of electricity and the capacity market. Also, he successfully coordinated the process of raising financing for ESS and renewable energy sources. Piotr has also worked as CEO at Hynfra Energy Storage, Poland, as Executive Regulatory and External Relations Affairs at Électricité de France Poland and as a lawyer at Dentons Law Office.

Mariusz has over 30 years of technical, organisational, and design experience in the energy sector, with nearly 1,000 completed high-voltage substation and transmission line projects for TSOs (Transmission System Operators) and DSOs (Distribution System Operators), as well as renewable energy installations with a total capacity exceeding 600 MW. He has held key roles in renowned global energy manufacturing companies and leading Polish EPC firms. Mariusz holds full construction licenses for project management and design without restrictions. He holds a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences and an MBA, as well as postgraduate certificates in project management, corporate financial management, and commercial and civil law. He is currently expanding his expertise in BIM technology.

Mateusz has a strong background with new technologies, batteries and electricity. Over the last few years, he has been involved in developing software for the automotive sector, developing a start-up dealing with electric vehicles and charging stations and as a Project Manager at a battery design and manufacturing company. He is a graduate of electrical engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology.

Barbara brings extensive experience in communication and public relations. Throughout her career in NGO, she has delivered several projects in the fields of climate, energy and social policy, including Łódź Citizents’ Assembly “Greenery in the City” (2020) and Krakow Climate Assembly (2021). Barbara joined HEP to support daily operations of the Polish branch and enhance communication activities. In her free time, she is an enthusiast of Smart Cities concepts and independent European cinema.

Małgorzata has over 20 years of experience working in finance. She joins the HEP team as Financial Assistant. Małgorzata loves spending her free time in nature and values environmental protection, and is excited about the opportunity to work in a place that contributes to seeking new solutions to combat the energy and climate crisis.

Tomasz has extensive experience in the energy industry, specializing in the development and construction of renewable energy projects. In addition, he took part in many project financings and M&A processes. He has worked with many entities such as PGE S.A., Modus Group, Green Genius, Neo Energy Group. In addition to the RES industry and energy storage, he specializes in the Capacity Market. In his spare time, he loves to ride off-road motorcycles and snowboard.

Henryk brings over 40 years of professional experience in the energy industry, making him an invaluable asset to the Board of Directors of Harmony Energy's Polish branch. He spent a significant part of his career at the Bełchatów Power Plant, the largest in Poland. At PGE, one of Poland's leading state-owned companies, he held the position of Director of the Generation Management Department, overseeing the operations of the country’s key power plants. Outside of his professional life, Henryk is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Ziemowit has been with Harmony Energy almost since the very beginning of the Polish branch. He brings 5 years of experience in power engineering, automation, and power electronics, during which he delivered projects spanning photovoltaic farms, grid connections, and emergency power supply installations for critical infrastructure and industrial facilities. He also worked as an R&D engineer at a startup developing inverters and power electronics devices for photovoltaic systems. At Harmony, he is responsible for designing BESS energy storage systems across the full voltage range, conducting technical and spatial analyses, and 3D modelling using BIM technology.

Stefan has been working in renewable energy since 2010 and was one of the early members of Tesla’s battery storage business in Europe. Before establishing BayWa r.e.‘s battery storage and hydrogen business in UK, Stefan worked as Strategy Manager at BayWa r.e’s headquarters in Munich. He also realized MW scale PV/battery microgrids in remote regions at SMA Solar Technology. Stefan studied Industrial Engineering in Germany and Chile with a specific emphasis on environmental aspects.

After having worked for more than 10 years in landscape architecture and urban planning in Germany, the United States and Singapore, Tobias moved into the renewable energy industry in 2010. He has been responsible for the development and implementation of several utility-scale solar parks partly with co-located BESS, spearheaded the UK market entry for BayWa r.e’s solar projects business and built the presence of BayWa r.e. in Africa. Tobias has studied landscape architecture and urban planning at TU Dresden.

Juergen has over 20 years of experience in the electrical energy sector, with a distinguished history of managing and delivering complex projects in the utility and renewable power industries across Europe, Africa, South America, and Australia. He has been instrumental in establishing grid connection departments for leading organisations. At Belectric, one of the world's top solar EPCs, Juergen played a key role in setting up subsidiaries in Germany and the UK, solidifying the company's presence in these critical markets. Before joining Belectric, Juergen worked for Siemens AG in the Oil and Gas sector, where he contributed significantly to the commissioning of the world’s largest gas turbine power plant, showcasing his technical expertise and project management capabilities. He also brought his extensive experience to STEAG Solar Energy Solutions GmbH, where he successfully established and developed the grid connection and electrical engineering departments. Juergen holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt in Germany, with international experience gained through a semester in South Africa. Currently, he is further expanding his leadership and strategic management skills by pursuing an Executive MBA in General Management at the prestigious University of St. Gallen. Juergen’s comprehensive technical knowledge, combined with his strategic acumen, makes him a leader in the field of electrical engineering and grid connection.

Uwe has over 15 years experience in design and planning in the construction field. Among other positions, he was general planning manager for several office projects. At our team in Munich he will be responsible for the planning and permission process in Germany. Uwe holds a diploma in architecture from University of Karlsruhe and he is licenced architect in Bavaria (ByAK).

Philipp has many years of experience in project development for ground-mounted photovoltaic systems in Germany. At a start-up, medium-sized and most recently large company such as BayWa r.e., Philipp was able to get to know different approaches, strategies and processes in project development, which were very helpful for his professional and personal development. From the acquisition to the commissioning of ground-mounted PV systems, Philipp was responsible for the project from an economic and technical perspective. After years in the PV sector, Philipp wants to get to know a new product and is now driving large-scale battery storage projects for Harmony Energy in Germany. Philipp studied Management of Renewable Energies (M.Eng.).

Zaid Aljallad is an experienced energy engineer specializing in the development and implementation of grid-scale BESS projects, with a focus on renewable energy integration. His work spans multiple projects across Africa, including Morocco and South Africa, where he led the market entry and initiation of a utility-scale solar PV project portfolio, while also assessing the feasibility of several technologies, including BESS and green hydrogen. With a master’s thesis focused on optimizing grid systems for integration of solar energy via co-location of BESS, Zaid brings strong analytical skills to every project phase, from initiation, development and design to commercial business case optimization. His expertise ensures that projects are technical and commercially optimized and tailored to meet investment objectives.

Manfred has more than 15 years of experience in the renewable energy field, including in the planning and quality assurance of large-scale photovoltaic systems and the integration of renewable energy into the electricity system through direct marketing and virtual power plants. Since 2016, Manfred initially worked as a strategy manager and from 2021 was responsible for the development of the BayWa r.e. Group's hydrogen activities. Manfred studied physics at the TU Munich and the NUS in Singapore. He holds a PhD in particle physics on the search for the Higgs boson at CERN near Geneva.

Melanie brings more than five years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on wind and solar energy. During her time in commercial asset management, she was responsible for operational assets in the German market, where she developed deep expertise in stakeholder and contract management, cost and liquidity planning, and financial and performance reporting. Her academic background combines technical and managerial know-how: she holds a Master’s degree in General Management (M.A.) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in Renewable Energies (B.Eng.).

After graduating from high school, Simon studied Geography at the University of Innsbruck. There, he focused particularly on Human and Physical Geography as well as Geographical Information Systems. In June 2023, Simon began working as a working student at Harmony Energy in Munich. Upon completing his studies in December 2023, Simon started working full-time as a project developer at Harmony Energy.

Architectural draftsman and CAD specialist with over 10 years of experience in creating precise construction plans and implementing complex civil engineering projects in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. His focus is on efficient workflows, appealing design, and accurate technical execution. Additionally, Adrian has advanced skills in 3D visualization, illustration, and photo editing, which he applies to create innovative and detailed plans.

Andy has been working in the renewable energy industry since 2005. He has experience in hydro, wind, solar and storage, having worked in New Zealand, the UK and for the last 11 years in France. Qualified in engineering, Andy’s background first had a technical focus, before more recently specialising in contracts and purchasing for renewable energy projects. Over recent years Andy headed up solar pv and battery procurement activities for RES France. In 2024, Clément and Andy founded the Italian branch of Harmony Energy to develop Harmony’s activities in Italy.

Clément has over ten years’ experience in the electricity market. Qualified in engineering and energy, he has since worked in various commercial and consulting roles specialising in smart grid applications, before more recently heading up the development activities for large scale battery energy storage projects at the major renewable energy developer RES France. In 2024, Clément and Andy founded the Italian branch of Harmony Energy to develop Harmony’s activities in Italy.
