The fund will benefit two local associations dedicated to social impact and the environment: Télémaque and Repousse.
Télémaque – Inspiring tomorrow’s talent
For over 20 years, Télémaque has helped motivated young people from underprivileged areas thrive through a dual mentoring programme – one academic, one professional.
The aim is to unlock potential, build confidence, and open up new opportunities.
Lucie Réchard, Télémaque Manager for the Pays de la Loire region, said: “With Harmony Energy’s support, three students from the priority neighbourhood of Bellevue will be mentored over three years by both an academic and a professional mentor, helping them make the most of their abilities.”
The first two mentoring pairs are already underway: Yvon, a recently retired nurse, who met his mentee at the end of October, while Chloé, who works for an SME in Nantes, has just begun mentoring Yousra.
Repousse – Planting, educating, connecting
This Nantes-based non-profit acts as a community tree nursery. In just two years, it has planted over 9,000 trees and shrubs and led around 30 educational initiatives on trees and biodiversity.
Marion Huet, Repousse Coordinator, said: “Harmony Energy’s three-year support is exactly what a young association like ours needs to bring all our ideas to life – more community planting, more education, more impact!”
The funding has already enabled the creation of a new salaried position: Clara Thillaye, a landscape designer, has joined to strengthen technical expertise.
In 2026, Télémaque and Repousse will collaborate on a tree awareness day for the young people supported by Télémaque.
About the Cheviré BESS
The Cheviré BESS at the Port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire is France’s largest battery storage facility at the time of energisation. With a capacity of 100MW and 200MWh of storage, it provides two hours of electricity, enough to power approximately 170,000 homes during peak demand.
