The Harmony Energy Run Harrogate 10k is back on Sunday 28 June 2026, once again taking runners through the scenic Crimple Valley on one of Yorkshire's most popular summer road races.

Harmony Energy is delighted to be back as proud sponsor of the Harrogate 10K and kids’ fun run, delivered by Harrogate Harriers & AC. The scenic multi-terrain route winds through the Crimple Valley, combining road and off-road sections in a UKA-licensed, chip-timed event, with results sent to runners shortly after they finish.

Last year’s event attracted 684 finishers and drew widespread praise for its community atmosphere, welcoming volunteers, and top-class organisation. Runners have described the event as “just like a big party” and “the best club-run event I have ever attended.”

The popular Junior Fun Run returns alongside the main race, giving children of all ages and abilities the chance to experience the buzz of race day. Kids’ runs take place before the 10k start.

Dan Atkinson, Race Director at Harrogate Harriers, said: “Each year we deliver an iconic mixed terrain course, an amazing race village experience and terrific post-race goodies way beyond what competitors might expect, with first-rate support from our enthusiastic and supportive marshals. It’s a brilliant advert for both our town and running club.

“Harmony Energy has been the perfect partner and has been with us at every stage of our journey, supporting us with publicity design right through to podium prize-giving. Their generous financial support has meant we can stage a great event that enables new and experienced athletes to give their best on a beautiful course whilst enjoying a premium race experience.”

Pippa Greenwood, Sustainability Lead at Harmony Energy, said: “The Harrogate 10K and kids’ fun run has become a real highlight of the summer calendar, and the sheer amount of time and effort the Harrogate Harriers volunteers put into making it happen is remarkable. We’re proud to support that dedication and help bring all their hard work to life.”

Entry is priced at £21, or £19 for UKA-affiliated runners. The Junior Fun Run costs £3.
