Being a key figure in the renewable energy industry, HEIT invited local community groups to apply for a share of the £10,000-a-year community fund, with grants split between projects to support the local area.
HEIT were on the lookout to support incentives and organisations that improve the local environment, such as planting trees, protecting wildlife and for projects that bring the community closer together.
