Set in the famous spa town of Harrogate, the annual 10k saw participants embrace the multi-terrain route, with Crimple Valley reopening to runners to celebrate the special occasion.
In addition to the 10k, children participated and enjoyed the Kids Fun Run.
Harmony Energy was proud to sponsor the event. Peter Kavanagh, CEO of Harmony Energy, said: “It was a brilliant day and we were delighted to support such an important local event. It’s our 3rd year sponsoring, and each year we’ve seen more people take part and enjoy the 10k and Kids Fun Run, and it was great to see that pattern continue today.
“Well done to everyone who participated, and I hope you all were able to celebrate your achievements.”
Event organisers – local running club Harrogate Harriers – were delighted with the day and thanked the many volunteers and sponsors who helped deliver the event.
Ben Shacklock, Chair of Harrogate Harriers and AC, said: “Harmony Energy has been the perfect partner and has been with us at every stage of our journey, supporting us with publicity design right through to podium prize giving.
“Their generous financial support has also meant we can stage a great event that enables new and experienced athletes to give their best on a beautiful course whilst enjoying a premium race experience. Harmony Energy Run Harrogate 2024 was our best ever event.”
