Harmony Energy and Harmony Energy Income Trust were to delighted to feature in Bloomberg to celebrate Europe’s biggest battery being energised in England.

The article discussed the size and scale of the 99 MW / 198 MWh Bumpers project in Buckinghamshire, as well as the energisation of the Harmony Energy Income Trust Scottish-based 49.5 MW / 99 MWh Little Raith site. Both sites utilise the Tesla Megapack 2XL battery technology.

The energisation of the Bumpers battery energy storage system (BESS) – a site that can store enough energy to power 300,000 homes for two hours – means Harmony Energy has developed the three largest BESS projects in Europe (by MWH) and represents a significant milestone in the transition to renewable energy, including the multi-award winning Pillswood site.
